Lego Halo Minifigs, they will brick your mind.

Another thing I got for my B-day from brickforge were lego halo minifig armors and helmets, and more cool stuff, just click on shop. These lego pieces can NOT be bought in stores or from the lego company. Here is my custom made squad (guess who's my favorite).

The leader of the squad is as red as his scooter. His weapons were once those of a great leader, all halo fans know his name, master chief. He repainted them to match his armor. The scooter I just thought was cool.

The orange and blue guys are brothers, but can not agree on anything. They are second in command of the squad. The blue is kinda the guard of red and he is a little hot headed. The orange is the leader of the troops.

The troops are simply white troopers so far I have only 2 of them, I look forward to having more for a real army. They are trained to follow all orders by high command, except the order to commit suicide. If that order is given the trooper given the order must arrest the commander and he will receive a higher rank.

Glo-Fish-arama!

Glo-Fish, Glo-Fish, Glo-Fish, Glo-Fish ... got them for my BIRTHDAY. Booyah!

I have been begging my mom for a Glo-Fish forever.
They are like a little piece of glowing heaven swimming peacefully.She kept saying "No!" because she didn't like that they are 'genetically modified organisms'. They used jellyfish DNA to get the glowing effect. They were developed to help find environmental pollution (glo-fish ethics info). Once she read that, her resolve imploded like the death star.

The Glo-Fish website recommend displaying the fish under a black light. I found the black light, and it is on it's way. I am so excited. NONE of the pet stores carry a black light, so order yours from BlackLight.com. Your fish still need a white light too, to stay healthy. My mom got me some sleek black tubing, so you won't see it in the tank. As you can see, I have black rocks that have a few neon flecks in them.

For now I have my little Glo-Fish in my mom's 80 gallon tetra tank. They will live there for a week while the tank cycles. Even without the black light they look really bright. Once I get the tank set up I will post photos and video.

I have some ideas for my room too. We are getting black cloth for the walls and are going to paint a scene, maybe one wall a command center and the other space. Right now all of my star wars ships are hanging from the ceiling. The Opticz™ Galaxy Blacklight Reactive Cloth Wall Hanging would fit in perfectly. I got some pretty cool Space Marine Active Camo Armor (transparent) from BrickForge, and I was thinking I could paint it with the black light reactive pens. I have a few other ideas for minifig mods. That is for another post though.

Halloween Past

Since I put up my old grade-school photo on my profile, I thought it would be good to put in a little comment. That got me thinking that a post on Halloween Costumes past wouldn't be half bad.

The blog photo is me in elementary school in a handmade Anakin costume. It took me a few months to grow my hair out for Halloween, but it was worth it.

My Great-Grandma made the costume. My dad got a Force FX Lightsaber (Anakin's) by Master Replicas. Sadly, they are no longer in business. It is a most awesome lightsaber, that you can actually duel with. I also got Anakin's glove to complete the costume. It was the best costume.

New Blog...

My mom insisted that I needed to post all my product reviews under a 'code name', for safety reasons. So... here I am setting up a whole new blog.

In the coming days I will post all my old photos, thoughts, ideas and suggestions - mostly about Legos and Star Wars of course, but also about other cool stuff. Of course, I have lots of new things to talk about too. Got some pretty good stuff for my birthday. I will tell you all about it. There is a lot of work that goes into taking my photos and getting them up here. I don't look forward to doing it all over again, but you do what you have to do - right?

I am really sick today. It is hard to think and keep things going when you can't breathe. No oxygen to the brain.
